Badge List
« on: March 08, 2012, 09:44:22 AM »
I think it would be a GREAT addition to the guide if you added a section that lists out the badges & descriptions - and possibly even pointers for how to achieve them (ex. To get the "Me,Myself & I" Badge, you have to have the Insane Trait).  It may seem obvious how to get some of the achievements, but some may not be as obvious to some as it is to others and some of them do involve some strategy.
I don't know if anyone is working on this or not, and I'm sure you've already thought of it, but I didn't see much mention of it when I searched the forum so I figured I'd put it out there...   :D

I'm putting one out today, actually! Kris402 sent me a full list and I'll be publishing it in tandem with my guide to Magicians :D

Yay!  I'm so excited!  I wanted to print out a list or something by this weekend so I can strategize and have absolute Pure Focus all weekend since thanks to my XBox Game Loving Boyfriend, I am now just a tad Achievement Crazed.  8)

Aww!   You Are Awesome! 8)  I saw it after I got home yesterday and immediately started cutting & pasting to organize the goals for each of my Sims.  I love strategizing and I didn't want to waste most of the weekend trying to figure out who should do what, traits they may need, when they should do it, etcetra (especially since some achievements are based on doing something at a specific career level or having a specific trait).

Thank you Kris402 for your work with the Guide and Thank you Carl for all that you do!

Oh wow, I figured people would figure up ways to make use of it over the in-game version. Nice!

The current list is not very efficient. A check list with everything listed only once would be so much easier to manage. No subcategories just everything in alphabetical order. Right now I can't make plans or anything because its completely chaotic.

Thanks for that suggestion. I'll try to reorganize it soon, I can see what you mean although I'm no achievement hunter myself. Putting them into alphabetical order would make adding new ones easier for me in the future. As you said I'll try to make sure each appears only once. I think I'll keep the expansions separate, as opposed to labeling them and putting them into one big list.
