Well This Sucks :P
« on: April 20, 2013, 05:16:44 PM »
I play The Sims 3 Pets for PS3.  I played a few generations until I decided I was done and transmorgify my sims into ghosts and have my cat capture them.  That was neat.

So, I decided to create an Asian family with parents, two kids, an Akita and find a house for them.  None of the houses are affordable.  I had my sims from the last family move to a few houses and I upgraded them so now even the cheaper houses aren't affordable anymore.  I tried even adding a butler and the cheapest house is $33,000 and with a butler it brought my family savings up to $24,000.  I found story mode type families and I found one that has a couple and a dog and their family savings is $33,000 but it's not the same as going through the process of creating your own sims.

I know the only solution is to delete my save and start over.  I guess I know better now to only upgrade one house and stick to that one house.

Oh well.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Edit:  Well, I actually fixed it.  I picked a house that I had built and had new owners living there.  I went to all editable lots on the map and found it and completely demolished the house and waited for the sims living there to die of starvation.  Before that, I had my sims travel to the lot so they could all die around the same time.  So, I went to create a sim mode after everyone died and created my asian family which has the parents and two kids--one boy and one girl and an Akita.  I build a new house so I'm happy.

I suppose that feature does make me a little happy actually, that if your sims die you can play as another sim on the neighborhood, so if an "accident" happens in my Johnson family, I can play as the Flanagans,  ;D
