Marriages

Okay, I've heard that your sim are now able to have circular marriages (marrying cousins) and such

But I was wondering, can your sim marry or have a romantic interest with step daughters?

Say if your sim married a sim with some children (that aren't yours)

Will your sim be able to? (Just curious)

I am pretty sure that if you marry a sim with children already that once the husband or wife dies the children are no longer "step" and no longer relatives.  It's been a while since this has happened in my game so maybe it's changed, but that's the way I remember it.

I just created a new Sim and married Fiona McIrish.  I aged up River and was unable to do any romantic actions with her from acquaintance til best friend.

But say... When you're still married, would your sim and your non-blood related step-daughter/step-son sim be able to have a romantic interest?

That's I had going on.  My Sim and the mother were married, and the step-daughter was living with us as well.  I couldn't even perform any romantic actions with the step-daughter, the option wasn't there no matter what stage of friendship we were at.

I have not tried that since Ambitions, but, I had a household with that same situation.  Husband, wife, stepdaughter.   Stepdaughter decided to flirt with stepdad, shocker, I did not think that they could do that. Of course he denied any passes and they had enough LTP to get "no jealousy" and "stone hearted" and I kept my eye on her.  She did  it a few more times too.  I have not played that household in a while, but, it does happen.  I have found on here, that some peoples games have things happen, that others do not.
