Moonlight falls & showtime venues

I have my family in Moonlight falls my 3rd generation wants to be a singer but am unable to place any of the showtime venues needed in the town any ideas

Did you go to the community sites and change them? There are many sites for the showtime venues. You need to go to "edit town" and change them them to the apropriate site to place a venue. Haven't done it yet in Moonlight; but I'm planning to.

yep I have done all that I went into edit town checked the size of lot I needed to place  coffeehouses, live show venues, private venues, and large venues when going back into edit edit the community lots show as the correct "lot" but when I go into the "community buildings" and select a property the community lots on the map disappear

I used the "small park" lots for the smaller venues. On the side of the river where the Goths live, just reove a couple of trees and the lots will place. For the Big show venue, I used the lot accross from the Toadstoll tavern or whatever its called.

You're trying to place it on lots where the games thinks the lots are already taken.  To be considered an empty lot, it should have the sideways diamond under the park bench.   The way to fix this is to bulldoze the lot once and then it should let you put it down.

I think it is a bug in Moonlight falls. When you go into edit town there will be a lot of empty community lots, bit you won't be able to place buildings. Change the lot to residential and there will be a little house icon, bulldoze the lot and the triangle will appear. Then you can change it back to a community lot.

You don't have to make it a residential to get the triangle.  Just bulldoze the lots once as community lots as I suggested.  The thing about Moonlight Falls is they aren't empty lots.  The way the town was implemented was that they were already lots and to make them empty you need to bulldoze just once.

I just went into Moonlight Falls, and succesfully changed certain sites. Even lots that were  pre-designated. Was able to place a "Big show venue"; a "Private venue", the "Plumbob studio", and others. I renamed the town to "Sowtime", and saved it for future use.
