Peashooter

Is there anyway to get a peashooter without buying the limited edition version of supernatural? I've done everything with locking fences and doors to keep the zombies out and tried all the tips I've read on other forum threads but nothing seems to work. From what I've read I'm convinced the peashooter is my only hope! Any suggestions will be great, thank you!

Unfortunately, No.  I do suggest using a genie to banish them if locking doors and whatnot fails, and going to a longer lunar cycle to minimize your problem.  For going out safely on a full moon, carrying some cure elixirs ought to do wonders for keeping Zombies to a manageable level.

Isn't there are way with the new options (or a cheat) to turn off zombies altogether?

Zombies have no population control,  a mailbox testing cheat can remove them all, but more will spawn next full moon, unless you're willing to forgo the benefits of the full moon (By selecting a single phase) for a lack of zombies.  My suggestion was more about managing them than removing them.

If you use the potent cure elixir it stops that sim from ever becoming a zombie again (or at least it seemed to in my game).
