Question about the gardening bug, affecting community gardens?

I've been reading where some Simmers have been having problems and had to replant their gardens. So that made me start to wonder about the community gardens.

What effect the gardening bug has on our community gardens?  Meaning will we have to replant the whole garden again, and re-share it?

I've been working on a new community garden, here and there. I have it almost all planted, just waiting for the new expansions to plant whatever harvestables they may have. Does this mean I'll need to replant what I've already planted, so it's not effected by the bug?

I think this problem needs a proper EA fix.  I have done a factory reset and started a new game and this has not fixed the problem.  Gardens I have planted in the WA sites are just as bugged as before the reset.   I haven't tried making a community garden as such, though I had intended to sell my garden in China and then turn it into a community garden.  I've tried both using plants from buydebug and planting from seed, neither are working in WA destinations and the problem, though not as bad is still present in SV.  I find I can harvest commmunity and tend home gardens in SV, but I have to keep watch as my sim will not complete the task without a break every so often.

This might explain the problem I am having in my community gardens, I have two.  Normally, when I send my sims to harvest I click on a couple of plants and off they go, harvesting the whole garden.
Now, no matter how many I click on, they will harvest just that one and then go off to read a book or get a drink.  I have to send them to each plant, one at a time, when I want several plants harvested. 

I am still tweeking them and when finished I will make them available for everyone to see and give me any tips, I am always open to suggestions.  Doesn't mean I will follow all of them, but do listen.

Where do I find more info on the gardening bug?  So far both my community garden and personal gardens are just fine.  Click on a Sim and he/she does what I say without stopping till done.

I did see an article on Mod the Sims that talks about the gardening bug in the latest patch. But not sure if they've found a solution to the problem.  I was hoping we could put out heads together to see if we could find something.

Thanks Joria and Wai for saying that home gardens and the community garden is okay. I've been really curious about that.

A lot of problems seem to happen only when the Sim in question gets a blank page in their collection journal under gardening plants.   So it's the Sim that is usually bugged not the plants themselves.  As soon as I downloaded Supernatural, my plants started acting normal.  No more mycelium state for non mushrooms.    A known fix for a bugged Sim with a blank collection journal page is to download Twallan's overwatch mod.   It should fix the problem without any issues.  I realize that is not a solution for everyone but it is the only that has come out so far.   Enchanted81 said she ended up doing a reinstall for some reason and it actually fixed the problem for her as well.

How can i find the Twallans Overwatch?  How do I download it and how do I use it?

Does anyone know if it has to be a complete re-install, or just a factory reset? 

My game is fine, in my home town, but, although I started a completely new game, I still get that blank page thing in all 3 vacation locations.  I can neither harvest wild plants nor grow on my own vacation lots now.  I really would like a fix for this.  It would be annoying, but I am prepared to do a complete re-install if it will fix the garden bug in WA.
