My sim wants to sing karaoke.  The wish appears every time she sees another sim.  it does not matter if the sim is a total stranger just passing the house, or one she knows.  It's become a real game spoiler, as it can appear repeatedly; new wishes, to sing karaoke appearing one after the other without a break in public places.  It is quite literally every single sim she sees.  Her traits don't have any obvious connection to this, she is "loves the outdoors", "adventurous", "ambitious", "bookworm" and "good sense of humour".

It started with just "sing karaoke" so I bought a karaoke machine.  With the machine it became "sing karaoke with" even when abroad with no machine available.  So I sold the machine, but she still wants to "sing with".  I have to pause my game every few seconds to clear these wishes before they cancel any other wishes that I may want to do.

I don't use mods, and have no CC.  Does anyone know what is going on, and if I can stop this.  I have tried saving and reloading the game and resetsim.

I have this exact same thing happening in my game as well! I cannot fogure out why either. Unfortunately I forget her current traits but only 1 of my 4 sims in the household does it. I do know that she doesn't share any  traits with your sim and it is always coupled with the wish to pillow fight.

It is definately at the point where I avoid playing with her because she constantly spawns them. Especially since I need to be extra careful when deleting wishes in case I delete one I wanted!

Perhaps it is a glitch with the patch? I don't use mods or CC either so it can't be that.

Sadly, my sim is solo, and I hardly ever let her out of the house now; she only goes to and from work, she reads, works-out etc. at home, its very annoying.  I guess I'll just have to ditch her and start a new game.   It most definately didn't happen prior to the latest patch.

Sounds like this is a widespread bug as I always get wishes like this. Including to sing karaoke with toddlers and babies... I can say that I had this happening before the latest patch. Once you get the machine it really spams your sims wish panel.

That's the weird part though, I keep getting these wishes without the machine and I think Wai was too.

I know that they have always spawned these wishes but the amount is now excessive. It's to the point where I delete a wish to sing karaoke and she immediately respawns it (coupled with pillow fight)

Yes, the sing karaoke keeps spawning repeatedly, delete it, and it immediately respawns until you make the mistake of buying a karaoke machine when the "sing with" wish starts to spawn incontinently.  The sim is then almost unplayable because of the rapidity of the spawning.  Selling the machine does not stop it, nor saving and reloading, or reset sim.  I started a new game and had the same problem almost immediately with the new sim.  I have just started again, and so far it is OK.  But this a very nasty glitch IMO.  It is not related to any employment or other activity as far as I can tell.
