There is an interaction they use called Confess to Watching Sleep. That's... creepy. I know it's inspired by Twilight, but I found that aspect of twilight creepy as well.

Do the other sims actually go for it? Because if someone was watching me sleep I would not find it romantic.

Any time I've had a sim use the 'watch you sleep' interaction their relationship takes a negative hit! At the best it seems to be neutral.
I find the longevity of vamps a bit tiring but I totally agree that their interactions are really unique and I find them quite fun to play. I love it when you 'hunt' and then call the hunted person to you so you can feed, the 50+ moodlet is great.

You can purchase the reward: 'Immortal' which froze my vampire to young adult and can go out to the sun and she sparkles! When she goes out to the sun, she gets a mood let called: Sparkly and gives her a 20 mood let boost
