The Great Adventurer LTW (sorry, I'm not sure how it's called in the english version) is a hard one because it takes a lot of work and time, but it's also pretty fun the first couple of times you do it. The problem is that it gets really boring after you have already completed the tombs a couple of times, unless you download or create new tombs yourself, so now I never get to complete it.

I've sort of worked through the boredom now, and just have a happy familiarity with all the tombs - especially in Egypt. I've analysed every treasure spawner there, and now exactly where to go for what.

Yeah, me too. But because of that I don't get excited anymore. It's like "ok, let's get this x treasure from the tomb x". It's still good for decorating houses and getting tons of money and happiness points, but it definitely stopped being fun and exciting for me a while ago.

I just finished Descendant of Da Vinci so decided to start over and try architect once more, this thread sort of prompted that decision really, got my first great review on job number 3 earlier today, this time i'm back in Riverview instead of Bridgeport so no snooty celebrities and gates to deal with.

My great review came from Lucky Perkins, he lives in the most run down place in Riverview, it's small and shabby and he gave me 14,500 to do him a "Man Cave" so he could impress the ladies.

Well with that much money I went all out and refurbished his whole little house plus outhouse where his shower and toilet is, put in 3 custom paintings a sculpted dining chair and sculpted sink in the outhouse and he loved it, and it worked as he now has a girlfriend  ;D So one down just 99 to go, bet they wont all be that easy though, that was a lot of cash for a small plot like his.

I must say the guide has been really helpful for this type of career, and I sort of lucked out that Dallas wanted to join the sculpting career this game so I have two of them sculpting now.

I chose master mixologist for his LTW as it's the one I was trying along with architect in Bridgeport, getting level 10 isn't hard but owning a bar will take a while, not sure i'd class it as a hard LTW though it's just very money dependant. He actually had Master Romancer but no way was he doing that one, not while with my sim. He often has Heartbreaker, Goldigger and now Master Romancer but I just change it for one I want to try instead.

I've done Goldigger a couple of times as well, the first time it worked perfectly but since then i've had to jump through all sorts of hoops to finish it, doing Oh My Ghost then they have to marry again, and then either ambrosia or sending them back to the netherworld. It's too much hassle really.
