Sim Won't Die of Magic!

Hi, I am trying to make my sim die form the watery grave and the buried alive tricks but it is not working. I am using testingcheatsenabled true while I am doing this beause I read somwhere that if the sim is in a bad mood you will be able to kill the sim but it is not working so, I make his needs all completly low ecept for thirst. My sim's traits are hates the outdoors, genius, frugal, loner and evil. He is also a vampire and is practicing outside durring the day. What should I do? Thanks in advance!

I thought vampires could only die of two things - thirst and old age.  Maybe this also holds true with being a magician so a vampire will only ever die of thirst or old age.

I just made my sim normal and went into the career pannel and made my sim's carrer bar completly low then made the needs low and trried bouth tricks about ten times but he didn't die what should I do now?

It's probably a small chance of death so you could probably just keep trying it.  Your Sim wouldn't happen to have the lucky trait or maxed athletics right?

No, I belive that he has no athletics and doesn't have the lucky, loser or unlucky trait so I don't know what happend. I will keep trying!

I have been trying for a whole sim day! Is there something worng with my game? He has been doing the tricks out side his home lot so I will bring him home and see what happens.

Okay, it finally worked! I just had to bring the hunger down a little bit more and it worked!

I don't think needs have much to do with it.  I had a magician die during a show and his needs were all very high.  He also had the Lucky trait!   

I don't know for sure, but I rather suspect that dying during a performance is random.  That experience taught me to always have a death flower in my magician's inventory.
