I have no idea, you should wait for someone else to answer that.
I'm not sure, but for the huge amount of custom content you have, and the mods, it sounds like you have a bad CC issue. Something you installed yesterday is not working properly, I would say. I doubt it's the Twallan's mods since they are known to be good stuff, but it could be the hair or clothes. I used to have a lot of CC in The Sims 2 and always had issues like this, that's why I don't download anything now.
My advice is just to delete the custom content you have. Try loading the game without CC (there's an option to select in the launcher, where the installed content is I think) and see if it helps. But note that this will remove all the CC you have in-game and replace it with other stuff, and I think you can't undo that. You can load the game with CC again afterwards, but I think you have to put all the custom furnishing and clothes etc back yourself, even if you don't save I think.
There are also some methods to try to find the bad custom content that's causing the trouble but I'm not sure I can explain them here without breaking the rules. A quick google search should help you though.
Another thing you could try is a Factory Reset, as shown here:

I know maybe you won't like this, but I would recommend avoiding CC. I can tell you from my own experience that it causes much more trouble than you can think of. There are thousands of issues like this you can get from low quality custom content, and the more stuff you download, the higher the risk. It's just my advice
