Store bought stuff won't install

I moved my sims with all its expansions from steam to Origin due to pre=ordering Supernatural since it was not on Steam. I find game to be more laggy on Origin. Also today I discovered I had 2000 simpoints in sim store as a reward. I bought bunch of stuff and it is in my purchase history. It's downloading in sims launcher and looks like it is installed, but when I go in game it is not there, when I look at simslauncher after opening game it is not installed merely downloaded. This has been going on for a while today, what do I do now?

You'll need to install them all... Go into the 'Downloads' section on your launcher, click all the downloaded stuff, then click on the 'install' button at the bottom of the screen. It'll take a few minutes to install, but then voila - problem fixed!

I did that too. I downloaded them and then installed all. It unlocks and shows it's installed, but when I open the game it is not there. I bought Gothicue bedroom=office set for example and when I go in build mode, to select windows it still displays with the simeleon sign, when I press to download it it says I already have it. I am re-installing all sims games now, I am concerned maybe because I had all my CC there this caused problem? but I removed all CC and still nothing.

Did you look to see if the window was actually available to build with?  I know sometimes that things I've bought and installed will show up at the top with the simoleon sign, but will still be available for me to actually select in with the selection below.

Make sure that you have registered your game with thesims3.com.  The store now requires the registration to try and thwart people sharing their store downloads.

I re installed everything again, took time but it is working now

I'm also switching from Steam play to Origin play because of the no new expansions deal that is apparently a fact of life.  I had some store bought content that simply would not install, so I've just said to heck with it and completely uninstalled everything Sim related and am right now downloading it again from Origin.  Glad to hear you report back that this worked for you, I'd hate to think I was just wasting my time!
