Regarding Steam?

So I changed over to Origin from Steam, entered all my expansion CD keys, updated games and pre-ordered Supernatural. ONly reason I changed from steam was that, cause I read steam and EA are arguing again and most likely they will not release supernatural on Steam.
My question is now I have all the expansion short cuts on my desktop. Original, showtime, ambitions, world adventures, generations Night life. WHich one do I press to play them all? cause on steam I only had one shortcut. Also I will be without internet for maybe 3-6 months when moving to France and I want to be able to play the games, is there anything I need to do in order to arrange offline gameplay? on Steam you have to go offline mode but I don't know about origin,

I'll be sure signing in to download my pre-ordered Supernatural.

I just use the original link to play my game, and you don't need to do anything special to play offline with Origin. In fact, you don't even need Origin running to play.

It doesn't actually make any difference which you use to start it. Feel free to kill off all but one of the shortcuts.

Use the most recent one to play, get rid of the rest of the shortcuts... it should just take you to the launcher, and not matter in theory, but I've always used the most recent one, and that's worked really well for me - plus, if the most recent one is on a disc, then you'll need the disc inserted to play...

all my games are digital. What will happen when I don't have internet? can I play without it? cause it asks for updates and such sometimes before launching? on Steam you can go offline mode specially to play without internet, is there an option on Origin?

You don't need to even start Origin to be able to play Sims 3.  All you have to do is use any launcher shortcut (or bypass the launcher, if you do that). If you're not online, the launcher won't be able to check for updates, and nothing happens.

All of my game are installed via Origin also (I bought them from Steam, but installed via Origin at some point). I only ever start Origin when I need to download a new game.  Otherwise it's not running.
