Black Borders

Hi everybody, my Sims game used to play using my full screen, border-to-border in fullscreen mode but now there are black borders around the left and right edges of the picture of the game and I don't know how to get them to go away. It kind of looks like those borders movies will have but instead on the sides rather than the top ad bottom. Does anybody know how, or has anybody also had these black borders? I noticed this after I reinstalled it on a newly fixed computer.

It might be your resolution settings in the game.  You could try messing with them to see if it helps.

I think I know what you mean. I play the game with the black borders. Go to Options, Graphics, and then screen resolution ( I think that's what it's called ). Then, set it to a different resolution. The border-to-border one is there, too.

Mine was set to 1024x768 ( with the black borders ), and I changed it to 1360x 768 ( without the black borders ).

Oh, I can't believe I missed that! Thanks, both of you! I wonder how I changed it to that in the first place...
