Need help with my studio

I'm completely new to sims almost all together. I built a great home, but I don't know how to save it into my studio. It's the xbox 360 sims 3 pets. The only thing is I made it in the creation mode. Please help. I'm electronic illiterate.

On the PS3 version when you wish to send a lot to your studio you have to goto the town map then click on your lot and choose to save a copy. Not sure if it's the same  on Xbox but I think it should be similar.

Yep, its the same for Xbox.
