Why Can't I Delete This Wall/Foundation?

I built a basement garage by building a room and surrounding it on three sides with foundation. I needed to shift the foundation a few spaces, but two pieces of wall WILL NOT delete. The error message just said "can't delete." Both the sledgehammer, control + wall and foundation tools don't do anything. Any suggestions? I'd like to stay away from mods.

Is there something on the wall such as a picture? Or something on the wall or floor above the section you want to delete?

absolutly nothing on or on top of the two pieces. im pretty sure they're actually parts of a foundation and not walls.

Could you post a picture of what you are trying to delete? That might help us determine the problem.
