It is like a motive mobile for babies and toddlers.Their needs go up when they are in the swing. You have to make sure that any Sims in the house don't change the speed to fast as that makes the baby miserable.

Actually the last patch has changed the funtionality of the swing.  Pre patch 1.36 it was a motive mobile for infants and toddlers.   Post patch 1.36 it only acts this way if you have it turned on so there is more interaction needed to make it work.  However, it's exactly as ratchie says.  The baby is taken care of very well in the swing plus it's small and only takes up about as much room as a highchair.  And in game it's cheap as it only costs Sims §60 versus a couple of hundred for a crib.

Thanks Rica I totally forgot to mention that you have to make sure the swing is switched on to slow to make it work. I like to have my nooboos in the swing when they are downstairs during the daytime  and in cribs when they go to bed.

I've never used mine.  I love watching folks interact with the nooboos, especially tummy kisses, but I'm planning on using it more now.  Good plan Ratchie.  Swing in the daytime and crib at night!
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
