Having a big problem with sims
« on: July 22, 2012, 05:58:26 AM »
I got sims 3/latenight/showtime/world dventures. I got those for my Birstday couple of weeks ago. I started with one character in Sunset valley then I moved her to Bridgeport where she married Beu Merrick and now I want to move them to a different town since there is no school here for kids and I am kinda fed up in Bridgeport. The thing is when I go to Edit town it only shows me the original 1 girl sim not her husband or a child. I read moving guide but I still don't get what can I do to save them all in the bin and then move them. Please help

btw its a pc game and I got it all on Steam 50% off so I dont have a CD

Is it possible that the image of the family shown in edit town is simply not current? Maybe all your sims are really there, but the photo is wrong. Can you try saving them to the bin, then putting them in a new house, then checking if all the sims are actually there or not? That's my only idea...

Hi and welcome to the forum.
There is a school in Bridgeport. If the game is telling you that there isn't one though, you'll have to click the school with your child so (s)he can start attending it.

Now about your problem, I suggest you the same thing as pallyndrome. Save them to the bin and see if the rest of the family is there. To save a family to the bin, enter Edit Town mode, and click your active household, then click save to bin. It happens to me a lot when I give my sims a makeover in Create-A-Sim and their portrait takes a while to change, so it could be just the image.

Thank you all. I did it now. I evicted them from their house and got all their money and saved them in the bin and then moved them into  a new city! I was struggling with money, we had a tiny house and there was no place anywhere, I sold all my shares in businesses nd got 160 000 simeleons. Now I built them amazing huge house! with 2 floors and balconies and everything. Thanks!

I got a questions guy there is a sale on steam till 23rd of July on Sims games so what would you advice? I want to get one more pack. Ambitions, generations or master of stuff (or what you call it )

We don't actually talk about what expansions to buy as there is no real answer because everyone likes something different and there are a lot of threads that have been started on the subject.  I would suggest taking a look at Carl's Guide for each expansion to see if that is definitely the one you want.  Also this subject is off-topic for this thread.

I'm glad you were able to get your family saved and moved.
