Limit to Number of Genies?

I have searched for awhile but can't seem to find the answer.
I had my Sim get the lamp through happiness points. He fell in love with the Genie and freed her.
It worked so well, I tried it again with another sim in the same neighborhood. But no Genie and it freezes my sim up.
I have to use resetsim to get them to move. They just stand there like they are waiting for the genie to come out of the lamp, but nothing happens.
Tried it with another sim in the same neighborhood, same thing.

Can you only free one genie per neighborhood?

No, I had a household with seven freed genies when I first got Showtime to see what they could do. Maybe it was MY game being special, but maybe not.

Maybe it's a glitch or a mod. I've had a sim have 3 un-freed genies and 2 freed genies simultaneously.

I don't have any mods. Some cc but not sure why it would let it work once, but then not again

I would say to create a new game file and see if you can get multiple genies.  If you can, that means your original file is glitched.

My household had over 20 genies, so you can definitely have multiple genies in one household. But I think you can't have two genies out of the bottle in the same time.
