Changing life state while playing?
« on: July 16, 2012, 01:23:29 AM »
I forgot to set a sims life length to long, didn't know I needed to until three hours worth of game play... If I change it now, will it affect the sims I'm playing? Thanks!

You should be able to change and adjust each individual life state (infant to elder) without any problems at any time to your hearts content.

I think it scales whole neighborhood's ages accordingly, when you change it. I've changed it from the normal setting to long, and back in a same game. So if you have, say, 2 days until aging and then set it to longer, it will scale so that the sim has the same proportion of days left until their birthday, naturally meaning more days if you make it longer than before. :)

Phew, thanks. It's for a challenge, so I'm glad I can do it. :)
