Can Anyone help me with rar files?

I am downloading sims clothing and hairstyles. I found some websites and I really love the hair and clothing there, but it's not official sims website where I can directly download stuff in sims launcher. I can't for the life of me figure out how to extract it into a sims game.
I got steam sims so I go extract to/ steam/steam apps/ username/ and there there is sims epi 1 to epi 6 so idk what to do next.
