Sim refusing to stay in bed?
« on: July 09, 2012, 07:20:00 PM »
I have been having an issue with one of my sims where he refuses to stay in his bed. I will tell him to go to sleep then after getting into bed he will appear across the room within a few seconds. I tried moving the bed then buying a new one and that did not help. I also used ResetSim, but again no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions for solving this problem?  :)

Does he have the light sleeper trait?  By any chance is there a stereo in the room that is on?  Are conversations going on in the room?  Those can all wake a sim up, but, erm, I'm not so sure about the conversations.  I'm also not completely sure about this but I think light sleepers are more sensitive to those things.  Like, maybe if you have a stereo or TV on volume high in another room right next to it.

That doesn't sound like the light sleeper. A light sleeper will get out off bed normally. If it is a adult sim, move him to the clipboard and move him right back in. If it is a teen or child you must move a adult with him. That cure bugged sims for me.
