Architects make great friends?

So in my dabblings with Architect I've noticed that if my client is at least somewhat satisfied with my work we become instant friends, good friends if they're quite impressed (I haven't had a perfect review yet).  About a day or two later the relationship meter with these people completely max out to best friends through no action on my part.  No phone calls, no singing telegrams, nothing.  Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Yes, I think I've seen something similar, but I didn't realize what caused it. My Sim Carina Dreamweaver started out as an architect and redid the Sargeant home. I switched her to Stylist because I wasn't doing well with the Architect, but Bobby Sargeant was a best friend even though she hadn't spent much time with him. I guess it happened because she redecorated his home.

Same thing happened to me too.  That's a nice and easy way to make friends.  I'll have to keep that in mind for my Super Popular LTW.  It's way easier than playing the guitar for hours and hours on end.
