Dissappeared Sim

Ok, i hava a really weird thing going on. When i select my game in the menu, it shows my whole family. But when i go into the game, only 4/5 sims are there. I have the father of my triplets and the triplets. But the mother is nowhere to be found, even on the simtracker to the left of the screen! She was my starting sim, and im worried that she is gone forever. Please, does anyone know how to bring her back to the actual town? (she is registerd in the relationships thing, but not in the town at all). If anyone knows how to fix or reverse this, please tell me :C

If you can see her on the portrait panel but not in-game, try using the command 'resetsim firstname lastname' in the cheat console. If she's in Edit Town but not in the portrait panel, then splitting the family, moving her onto the clipboard and then back in has worked for another member with a similar issue.

Thank you so much! As im new to The sims, i totally forgot that there was a reset sim cheat! I shall try this as soon as i get a chance to!
