"Create a Twin" in CAS

I have just noticed this (though I remember reading about it before the game was released) that on sims, you can click the dots next to the portrait on the bottom on CAS and the option Create a Twin comes up. You can probably add this to the guide, as I've never seen it in there.

talk about teaching an old dog new tricks  OK, so say I have a sim who I have been playing for a bit, but I would like to make a slight change or two, maybe change one trait. Can I do that? Currently I'm only on my laptop, so I can't test this out (school holidays means 4 people who all want to play sims at the same time    )

Yeah, it has been around for a while but they don't exactly give you any hints about it, I stumbled on it by accident.

You also realize you can produce a baby with similar genes of the parents for 2 Young Adults (or older), right? You can do that by using the same button.

No, that's Play With Genetics. It's a different button.

Play with Genetics makes a child look like the parents. Example from my family: There is is strawberry blonde woman with blue eyes and a brownish red guy with purple eyes. If I use PWG, the possibility can be a blue eyed brownish reddish child or a purple eyed strawberry blonde.

About changing traits, there's a lifetime reward and a cheat to do that. (Cheat-testingcheatsenabled true, shift click on sims, modify traits.)
