Can't do any friendly interaction

Hi. I'm experiencing this annoying glitch. One of my sim cannot do anything friendly to another certain sim. When I command him to go and do something friendly (and by friendly I mean any interaction that will boost their relationship), he just walks up to him, the other guy turns to face him, and then poop! the action just disappears from action cue. This works the other way round, too. However, strangely, their interaction seems to work when it's to annoy the heck out of each other. Man, I do hope this happens between sims I want to be arch-nemesis, not ones I want to them be friends. They do fine with others though.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Can anyone help please? I have some CCs, awesomemod, moreslots and CAS slider hacks. I tried removing them but it doesn't help. The only solution I can think of now is to delete one of the guy and start over but I'm saving that for later.

Welcome to our Forum. 

You may just have a bugged Sim.  Try starting a new game and see if the same thing happens.

I'll try that. It didn't happen right away though. First, they start reacting negatively to each other's friendly action and then friendly interaction stops to work. (It's very creepy. Like they don't wanna get on each other's good side any more.) Somehow, I just found that relationship still improves on phone chat.

I didn't think to ask if it's only with one Sim that your Sim has trouble.  Does it happen with any Sim yours tries to be friendly with?

Just one Sim. He's doing fine with the others. I tried switching to the other Sim he's having trouble with and he's doing just fine as well.

Is their relationship good? If they don't like each other you might have to take things very, very slowly to build the relationship back into the green range.

It shouldn't matter what their relationship is.  If you're giving the command, the Sim should do it.  If they hate each other, the other Sim will react accordingly.  But the interaction should happen.  If it keeps doing it even when you exit and restart the game, I'd say it's a bugged Sim.  You probably will have to just play another file, unfortunately.
