The Warthog Polytechnic Institute – a College Daze Project

   On a hilltop on the outskirts of Twinbrook sits the Warthog Polytechnic Institute.
 


The student body is drawn from all the life states of the Sim world, attracted to the WPI curriculum, which requires alchemy in addition to its other courses. Located in a separate tower, the alchemy laboratory is seemingly inaccessible and off-limits to freshmen.



   The WPI’s distance from the freshman classroom building has created a problem for its academic dean, Professor Jevon Muniz. How can he perform his administrative duties and teach his class when he has to constantly berate students for tardiness?



   This year’s fall semester has had a difficult start, with a fire in the kitchen on the first morning.



Although Professor Muniz is proud of his students for putting out the fire, he is annoyed that their grades are so dismal. By this time usually everyone had at least a B average, but this crop only has two B’s among them. One of them is Janice Dockery, a young witch who is artistic and a vegetarian but also a loser. Rumor has it that she is a great kisser as well, but the professor doesn’t know anything about that. Janice is majoring in Art, which means she is studying painting, photography, and sculpture.



   Surprisingly, the other is the werewolf, Silas Haynes. Because he’s a night owl, he hates getting up early in the morning, which means he’s often late for school. This quality will be useful in the future, however, as he is majoring in Music, with an emphasis on the guitar, piano, and bass. Silas is also family-oriented and hot-headed, with star quality.



   Alec Mazza is the only student with a D average. He’s brave, as his quick work with the fire extinguisher demonstrated. He’s also grumpy, unflirty, and a cat person. His major is Health and Fitness, for which he is studying Athletics, Martial Arts, and Cooking to learn how to make nutritious meals. Alec is a human.



   The other human is Claire Adamson. She is proper and flirty, a loner who prefers horses to all other beings. She is learning cooking, handiness and gardening for a major in Home Economics.

   WPI’s only vampire is Kyle Fong (detractors say the family name used to be Fang). He is artistic, a cat lover, a diva, and a snob. With those qualities he’s a natural for Communication Arts and is studying writing, photography, and charisma.



   Marigold Peaseblossom is a fairy. She’s another diva, but also a loser and a born saleswoman, and is said to be a great kisser. Majoring in Biology, she’s studying gardening and fishing and has already begun her animal collection with a rhinocerous beetle. She’s decided on The Zoologist for her lifetime wish.



   Last, but by no means least, is the genie, Lavar Reynoso. He’s a charismatic computer whiz, but also hot-headed and neurotic. Lavar is majoring in Engineering, and will study logic, handiness, and inventing. Lavar has already banished two zombies, and is useful in a dormitory where there are only two showers.
