Ever since Sims 1 I've gone through long runs of playing followed by breaks due to boredom. Luckily EPs seem to coincide with boredom, luring me back. I get a lot of good ideas from sites like this one, not so much from challenges, but from reading about skills/ careers I've never tried and thinking "I'll give nectar making a shot, I suppose."
Recently I got it in my head to try "Amish" Sims...well, as close as I could get, at least. So far the hardest part is to keep them from any celebrity stuff, haha. I say take a break and wait for inspiration to strike!
