Nevermelting Ice Furniture
« on: June 23, 2012, 04:28:06 AM »
Hopefully I'm putting this in the right forum.  I want to try my hand at building a theme concept house and putting it up at at the swap shop.  I plan on having a scuptor make ice carving until they get the reward that keeps the stuff they make from melting, then furnishing the house with as much ice scupture furnishings as the game allows (saddly, no ice countertops or beds).

So, my question is, if I do upload a house with ice furnishings, with they still be unmelting if someone else downloads and places the house?  And if I have a sim upgrade an ice toilet or sink to self-cleaning, will that upgrade transfer over too?

Seince the sim who created the scuptures finished the challenge made the ice sculptures I am almost certen that the sculptures will not melt but I have never used the swap shop.

I know the handiness upgrades will be saved, but I'm not sure about the nevermelting scupltures.

Well, I'm going to try it by saving it to my library first, then plopping it down again in a different town and seeing if it works.  If it works in my library, I'm hoping that it will work in the swap shop.  /crosses fingers

You should export your house and then import it.  If there is going  to be a problem I think it would happen when you exported it.
