Bridgeport park remake
« on: August 22, 2012, 05:17:23 PM »
Name:  Bridgetown Acres  (name I will give my remodeled BP)

Lot Size:  64x64

Price:  Full remodel - $151, 132  Basic Park - $44, 818

This is a Big Park with a Live Show Venue

EP/SP:  Gen, Amb, ST

Store:  Simoleons in Love Fountain  (will probably translate to Big Gusher Fountain)

This is a remodel of BP's big park.  It is basically the same with lighter color restrooms, no octagonal thing, and some kid's swings and playground stuff which I moved to the rear.  Sorry, did not take pictures but will if you really want them.  The major difference, besides it being more efficient with more things for Sims to do, is the park show shell.  Eventually my version of BP will have all the venues from ST and hopefully, while still being big city, will be a little brighter and cleaner.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Sorry, Decima!  I've been telling folks my brain is on vacation and now I'm convinced it's a permanent state of affairs.  I can't believe I forgot the link AGAIN!  To make up for it, here's some photos.

Big Park with venue:

View of fountain and rest rooms:

Kid's play area:

One of the picnic areas:

Chess and domino area:

The stage:

The Diner/Coffee House venue is right across the street!

Distant view of the casino which I may make into either a Private Venue or a Live Show Venue.

This is a major remodel and wip so it will take some time before it will all be ready.  I have a hard time working in BP because the greyness depresses me and I get all grumpy.  Bit by bit though it is brightening up, and yet looks big city.  There are a lot more trees and just places to sit and chill, rather like my Portland.  I haven't even begun to look across the bridge!

I've been working in Barnacle Bay too.  Much happier place for me.  I'll post some pics in the Showboat thread.

Here's the link.

Thank you!  Couldn't be doing a lot of what I'm doing without great builders on this forum.

I agree with that. Since i am no builder myself, the guide for making homes for starters on the site has helped me out a lot.  :D
