Can't Cut Tiberium

Alright, so my dog found some uncut tiberium, and if I could get it cut that would be amazing, either for the value or as a decoration for my Alien Dynasty's house. Sadly, the "Get Cut..." option doesn't show up! The gem only has the view option when it's in the yard and the give gift option from my sim's inventory. Any ideas?

If your sim is poor you must get some money first. It cost 6000 to do the spire cut and 1000 for the heart shaped cut.

Also, if you haven't unlocked the heart cut, it may not show up.  I've heard of some pieces of tiberium becoming unfortunately bugged.  Have you tried saving the game as another name, shutting down game & computer and restarting?  I would also clear you cache files and everything but the ccmerged.package file out of your DCBackup.

I didn't even think about my lack of funds, I figured it would still show up. It's a Dynasty, so I can't add any funds, but if I ever get it back I'll hold on to it. (My sim rolled the wish to give a gift to his fiance, I only had the one gem in my inventory, and she rejected my private wedding shortly before going home -.= ) If it's still not available later I will try what you said Rica. Seems I need a sim to go collecting and get that heart cut...

If you go to the consignment shop, it counts when you buy gems from there.  It will not count if you use a miner though.

The fiancée will get the nauseas moodlet from the tiberium in her inventory. You can cut it after the wedding if she still has it. I hope so, when the spire cut have grown it is worth 35.000!

I don't think she will, I had it in my sims inventory for a whole day while he was at work, and got nothing

I think they only get the nauseous moodlet when they travel home from vacation.  I've never seen it happen with a tiberium gem that they got while at home.

Pam, I think they also get it if a dog collect the gem.

I guess we'll never know, cus when I moved her in she had already sold it. However, I found another uncut piece and was able to cut it, so perhaps I was to poor XD I feel somewhat silly now.

You can also get nauseous from tiberium you get from board breaking.
