A question for Norton users - [Solved]
« on: June 08, 2012, 01:39:26 PM »
I just downloaded the new version of Create A World.  Its works fine, until I try to enter Edit in Game.  Then, Norton decides its unsafe, stops it, and then removes the .exe!  Does anyone know a way I can stop Norton from doing this?

I had to uninstall Norton entirely...even for Sims 3.

Oops forgot...there's a free virus protection called Microsoft Internet Essentials (maybe security essentials) that I think is better than Norton.

I don't want to unistall Norton.  I don't understand why Norton would decide that Create A World is unsafe now, it worked a week ago.

Edit:  I trusted CAW.exe in Norton File Insight and it works now

When it does that you can go into the quarantine and do an override or restore, and Nortons will not do it anymore. I had the same problem back with Showtime or Pets. Its because it's changing files and Nortons views it as a threat unless you tell it otherwise.
