Sound and Lot questions

I'm curious about something.

I would like the music while the game loads and the music while I am in build buy to be off completely.
The other music is fine.

I would also like video games the sims play to be much much lower in volume..

Is this possible?

Welcome to the forum!

First thing, could you please change the name of this thread so that people know what you're asking for?  To change it, go to your original post and hit the modify button.  I'm going to move it to the appropriate board in a moment.

As for your sound issues, some of it is because there is a sound problem with TS3 since showtime came out.  It randomly becomes louder than it needs to be.  The best possible way to fix this is to just work with the in game volume when it happens.   As I don't think I've seen anyone else able to fix these problems either.

As for the house, you should be able to download it.  Because the items that you don't have are EP/SP items, the game will randomly generate something else in it's place once you go to use it.

The house will work just the things you linked will be replaced with content you have.
You can turn down the volume of TV, Computer etc by clicking on them and changing volume. About the other music I don't know sorry

If you're not opposed to mods, TFM has has mods to disable some sounds at Naughty sims asylum. you have to register to get them. I use her mods to silence certain sounds, because the DRIVE me crazy.

That sounds like just the thing I am wanting. I often stop them playing video games because they are so hugely deafeningly loud!

Is there a mod that stops them playing in the sprinklers automatically? What about a better maid and better babysitter mod? -s-

I had some before in 2009 , they do not work anymore.

Yes, what is TFM?  Please try not to use acronyms because not everyone will know what you're talking about.

Another way to help with acronyms is to give the word and then the acronym after.  Just remembering my college research papers where we did that to help clarify what was meant by the acronyms.
My daughter drive me NUTS with using acronyms constantly, with her hubby in the military.  It's as if she expect me to know what they mean; ABC, DEF, GHI and on she goes with letters or words that makes no sense to me. 

I wonder how many here would know what I mean when I state that I have to deal with SAD.

TFM is a creator (TwoFootMama). I use a lot of her mods and they work well with Twallan's mods on NRaas. I have her mod to stop computer game noises and ambient bar noises. She has tons of other mods; but, I'm trying to keep from overloading my game.

I wouldn't mind a mod that shut off computer noises.  Do you have a link for her site?  I googled by for some reason didn't find it.
