Death trap not killing my sim!

I have built this Inca-like underground tomb with a central fire pit death trap. Doors lock behind you once you're in, and triggers fire traps on all walls and floor. Stil my genius sim is too dumb to die??? Just screams, then complains, then repeats the process. This sucks. He should seriously just die. That's what I made him for. Testing traps for future victims of future builds.

I've never had my Sims die because of the traps. I never believed they where going to kill the Sim, just blocked there way.

Nah, Sims don't die from tomb traps. It kinda annoys me as well, because it takes away from the true sense of danger when tomb-raiding. Oh well.

The only trap that can kill a sim is the Mummy trap ( if you look at it as a trap )

Thanks for the bad news... I'll stick to blowing up household items in small cages with a sim inside then...
