Thanks,
My simbot IS gardening - that may explain it.
As for the mailbox thing, last night it worked fine and she talked with him without going to the mailbox so I think this is a glitch.
I don't know how to "reset" my people - too new at this yet to know that.
Thanks,
KLK
Resetting can be very handy if Sims get stuck or aren't acting right. To reset a Sim, first you open the cheats panel by pressing Shift+Ctrl+C all at the same time. Your screen will get a little darker and you'll be able to type in the upper left corner. Type in "ResetSim FirstName LastName" without the quote marks and using your Sim's actual name. This will reset the Sim and return him/her to the home lot with needs back in the green. Another thing you can do is "ResetSim *" to reset every Sim in your town. This is useful to help with lagging in the game. If you reset every Sim, sometimes it will let the game run more smoothly.

If you can't find what you're looking for, start a new topic on the appropriate board and I'm sure you'll get some help. We love new players here! It takes us back to the days when Sims 3 was new to us, too, and that's always fun.
