New house in game challenge

Sometimes when you start a new game you are told of a challenge on that lot. I have heard of ghosts on the lot and a meteor hitting and this time a squatter was there and the place was messy. I was wondering if there is a perk for excepting the challenge with each of the ones on the game. I know that the meteor you can pick up and analyze and with this latest challenge there was fruit and veggies lying around that were excellent condition. So my question in how many different challenges are there and what is the perk for each one?

With the Flood you get loads of Fish, I have had a Deathfish. A fireman also comes by to clean up for you 

With the Ancient Burial Ground you get loads of Gems, Some rare. A Ghost buster comes by to get rid of the Ghosts as well.

Those are the only ones I know of.

Maybe those events are little hints telling us that EA had something in mind like Ambitions! Firemen, ghostbusters, they all appear in the next expansion pack!

Starting a game with ghosts on your lot can actually come in quite handy if your plan is to start a ghost family.

Is the floods the same one as the leaky house? I chose that one and every appliance was broke, so not sure if it is same one.

Saltypaws, did you have a perk for that one? I think I had the leaky house one and I can't remember if there was a perk?

I don't remember, had handyman come by to fix things for free,so far nothing has happened.
