My cheats are not being recognized

When I type in a cheat command I get message:  unknown command.    The motherlode and kaching commands do work.  I've typed in testingcheatsenabled true
for example and that's when I get the message.  Can anyone help?

Welcome to our Forum.

Are you opening the cheats panel correctly?  It's Shift+Ctrl+C.  The panel will open and the screen will darken.  Then you type "testingcheatsenabled true" without the quote marks and press Enter.  Just make double sure that you're keying everything correctly.  If you still get the error message, a screenshot of it would be helpful.

I actually did a factory reset I found on another post, I will try to track it down again and add the link. It actually helped with the cheats, no problems now, altho I really did it for the installed contents, but still not appearing in my game, oh well, I must've messed up a step.
