How do I install additional Twallan mods?

Hi Folks:

I'm stuck here.  I added Mastercontroller and the Relationship Panel a few days ago.   They worked fine.   The mod I REALLY want is the Mastercontroller cheats.   I DLed it, and put it in my packages folder (and tried deleting the "scriptCache.package file) but the game will not initialize...Showtime chokes on it.  Then I took everything out except Mastercontroller and Rel Panel and it ran fine again.

I do have the Ford Focus package and Riverview installed.  Whether that makes any difference or not.

Is there something I have to do with it?   Do I have to "integrate" them and how do I go about that?

I have the game upgraded to 1.33.2.015001   And the packages are all the ones to be used  from1.31 to 1.36   So, they are all the correct version.

What do you mean 'chokes' on it? Does it not start? Master Controller Cheats won't show up as a new NRaas menu interaction, it will just be added on to Master Controller Interactions.

When I try to load, the Sims 3 part is fine but the Showtime part is "not responding" (according to the Task Manager), and it quits loading.   Chokes and stops dead in its tracks.

So I should be able to just put the file in and it works fine...but it doesn't.

  Are those the only mods you have in?  If you happen to have MasterController Progression module installed, but you don't have the  StoryProgression base mod installed, that can cause your game to crash.

  I hope you're able to get it figured out!

If I were you, I would go to the NRaas site and ask there. Twallan or someone else from NRaas will be more able to help you.

For what it's worth, Rel Panel chokes my game too.  It just crashes when it starts.  I pulled out all the mods, one by one, till I found the one that was crashing it when it starts, and Relationship Panel was the one that was the problem.  I put them all back in except for that one, and the game worked fine.  However, I should point out that I don't use any form of story progression, so your results might be different.

OK, it seems to be a missing file.

How it got deleted (Webroot?) I'm not sure but it seems to be important.   Not sure where it goes, how to get it or what it does.

OK, did some reading about this file.  It's a debugging file that was to be removed before the game was released (Spore has the same issue).  Twallan himself says that this error message will appear and that it means nothing.   One of the mods is causing the crash...and it seems to be the mastercotroller cheats module, the one I really want.

Error trap runs fine.  Going to try Overwatch with it.

And it worked with Mastercontroller, Error trap and Overwatch.

I wish you luck. i have all of Twllan's mods installed and 5 other mods from 2 other trusted modders. I haven't had any issues.

Yeah, not sure why Showtime doesn't like the mods but I'm having some pretty severe issues.   Oh well.

Anyways, I DID manage to get MC Cheats to install!!!!!!!!   YAY!!!

I used Mastercontroller 1.31 (b/c I'm patched to 1.33.2.015) BUT I used the Cheat mod 1.29!  And it WORKED!
I put only the two in there and it loaded.   So now my Moms know who their babies are!!!!!!   YAY!!!
