Mouse Wheel
« on: May 13, 2012, 02:01:42 PM »
I don't know if this is the right place, since it's not to do with the sims 3, although it does affect my gameplay.
My mouse wheel has gone a bit weird, yes, this part:

I can scroll backwards but not forwards, when I scroll forwards it feels kind of, soft and doesn't zoom in (in sims game) at all, or scroll up a web-page. Is there anyway to fix this or should I buy a new mouse?

Thanks, Warr2098.  :)

Is it something that can be cleaned?  I used to have to clean the rubber rollers on my old mouse to help it roll smoother.

I don't know, all I know is that it runs, too smoothly therefore not enabling it to scroll.

I hate to tell you but your going to need to get a new mouse. I had that same problem last year and there's no way to fix it.
