What is the New Kitchen Appliance Series?

I just a message that my Sims are serious home chefs and have completed it. They both got 500 Lifetime Happiness Points for it. But I've never heard of it before.
Edit: I had just bought a deep fryer and an ice cream machine for them. Their in France enjoying a nice vacation.

Sure my Sims ''completed'' something called ''New Kitchen Appliance Series'', but I've never heard of that before. All I did was buy an ice cream machine and deep fryer for them. They where awarded 500 Lifetime Happiness Points for it. I've never ''completed'' it before so I have no idea what it's about.

I dont have the deep fryer or ice machine myself, but sounds to me like the the pop up is a sort of reward for buying those two items and have it in your game-play.  Although 500 LP isn't much  :P

Or am i wrong?  ::)

But the weird thing is I've bought them before and it didn't say that. In fact They have 2 fryers and 2 ice cream machines.

The only time my Sim has bought these, he was awarded the happiness points.  Those two items should be the entire series.  My Sim only got the message the first time he bought the items, and definitely didn't get happiness points from buying them additional times beyond that.

I bought the complete hacienda set and when I go in game and anytime my sims( new family) buys the fryer and ice cream maker, they get the same message.
