Create a child

I know this is going to sound tre horrible but is there any way to put a family in CAS in create a child with their genetics, when they are already in game. My sim married a rather unremarkable lady with a big nose and i'd rather had a child without that nose if you get my drift. Any ideas?

Control-Shift-C (same time) write "testingcheatsenabled true" without the quotations, shift click on your sim and click edit sim in create a sim.

You can't enter the Create-A-Child option without remaking the Household, losing all the skills etc and generally a waste of time. However you can do what AdnaanA suggests and use the EditInCAS Cheat on the Child to edit it's facial appearance as it ages to how you want it to look. It basically takes that Sim back to CAS and you have full CAS powers on it. You can start using that cheat when the child becomes a toddler.

I had a child end up with a decidedly homely face as a teen, so I sent him to the hospital on a Saturday for some cosmetic surgery. It's an option, but I'm not sure if it is because of the new patch or Showtime. Just click the hospital and select the option. It costs a few thousand simoleons.

I figured out a way (with the help of someone on another forum) of editing both the parents in CAS and saving them to the sim bin, then created a family with them and mess around with the genetics until I got a kid I liked. Then I moved the identical family in with the original one, split up the household, moved the fake ones out and kept the child then used a mod to make them related. TADA
