Hidden Springs Issues (and a couple other things)

Hi I got hidden springs recently and when i loaded it it loaded super fast. There was no loading screen were the bar slowly fills to 100%. After about 1 second of "loading" it said it was correctly installed. Then when it went to the play screen and hit the play button were it said i needed pets expansion disk in for some reason. I put it in and it said i needed the origin account so i tried to make one and every time it would say that my password was invalid or my origin was invalid. Then i would exit out of that screen and the short-cut icon would not be on my desktop. (I have a PC). I can not figure out what to do and i am aggravated. Has anyone had these problems before? Did you resolve them, could you tell me how? Thanks.

Also now everytime i go to play sims 3. wether its through any icon. (late night, pets, ambitions, town life, world adventures, or the base game) i need the pets disk. I have no further problems though because it runs fine with the pets disk and has all the advantages from all the installed expansions.

One other problem not pertaining to Hidden Springs. Some times I will be on fast speed and the timer freezes for a couple seconds then goes on to what had before. Basicaly it freezes and unfrezzes multiple times in a row. Is this a glitch. I triend reseting it with resetsim but it does nothing.

Another thing, i have already deleted this game but i had a game with two horses, 3 young adults, and a dog. The dog and a young adults froze after i canceled and action from free will that was the young adult playing ball with the dog. Has this happend to you? I triend reseting them and it did not work. thanks

Yes i have had many issues with sims 3 but it's a great game. I just want to know how to fix these. Thanks for reading this long thing . haha. If you know how to fix it please help. Thank You !!!

I had this issue right after I installed Showtime. I went through my custom content and deleted a lot of stuff that I never used anymore. This fixed the problem for me. If you have any non-EA CC I recommend cleaning it out or checking to see if it has been updated with the new patches.

I'm no help on the other issues though sorry!

The disc needed to play is always going to be the last EP or SP that was released last chronologically.  It has nothing to do with what you've recently installed, it just wants the last one so if you don't have Master Suite or Showtime then it will ask for the Pets disc to play each time.

Your Origin account should be the same username & password you used to buy Hidden Springs from thesims3.com.    Hidden Springs is just a new world, not a new expansion or stuff pack.  It's just added bonus content that came from the store so it won't have an icon or anything to use it.  It will simply just be a choice when you start a new game to start in Hidden Springs. 

I've had problems with freezing before but it's been a while.  Have you tried a new game to see if the freezing still happens?  Have you thought of lowering your graphics settings just a little to see if that helps?  If you haven't done this before, try clearing out your cache files like explained here in this thread.

Thanks you  guys. I don't have a CC that I know of. And thanks for letting me know there should not be an icon for Hidden Springs but I still don't have it in the choices for a new town when starting a new game. Anyway thank you and I will try some of the things. I dont have a origin account (or what ever it's called) I just play sims. I bough it in disk form. And pets was the first expansion I bought and I have bought more since then. Oh well it's ok. Everything run pretty fine. Of course not including Hidden Springs. But thats ok. Thanks again!!
