I'm hesitant to post this because I don't hold out much hope of being able to fix the problem, but I'm not able to download anything from the store, even free items. In fact, in the two years I've had my game, I've never been able to.
My Sims game is showing as registered, although the free simpoints I used to have from registering are no longer showing up, and I have never bought anything.
I recently installed Generations (or, more accurately, had my brother install it, as I'm utterly awful with computers), so I thought I'd try again to see if I could get some of the nice free stuff from the store--especially Riverview, as I don't like Twinbrook and would like to be able to have another town option to play in.
However, when I click on the green Download button, I get a popup screen telling me the digital services agreement was updated. I tell the site I've read the agreement and click Accept, and then...absolutely nothing happens.
To answer the "Help Us Help You" questions as best I can: I am not on a Mac. I do not have any mods or CC, as I cannot even figure out the store.
I have World Adventures, Ambitions, Generations, HELS, and OLS. Everything has just been reinstalled, as we just got a new computer.
If anyone has any insight for this Technophobe, it'd be appreciated. And thanks for reading this regardless.
