I'm trying to install Sim's 3, EPs and Stuff Packs on a new (to me) laptop. I want to install everything on to the E: drive, which has plenty of space. However, when installing the base game, the files are automatically installed in C:\Program Files. The installation process does not give me an option of choosing where to install the game.
I'm installing EPs and Stuff Packs in order and got as far as Ambitions when I ran out of space. So I copied the entire Electronic Arts folder from C:\Program Files to E:\Games. When I tried to run the game from the E folder, an error message told my I needed reinstall the base game. Is there a way to move files from one directory or another? Or better yet, how can I choose the folder I want on installation?
Thanks for your help!
