Half gable roof problems
« on: May 11, 2012, 02:39:55 AM »
Howdy all. Does anyone know how to prevent half gable roofs from leaving a gap between the roof and the support wall created by it? It is quite noticeable even from some distance away, and the top of said wall shows as apparently unrecolorable white which is distracting as well. I like that roof style, but the "gap" really bugs me.

I'm not sure where this gap is. I don't think I've ever had a problem with the half gable. Could you possibly post a screen shot of the problem area?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm facepalming a bit here because it looks like the "gap" is actually just a load-lag issue, so there's nothing to be done about it. Meaning the roof support wall is (for me) one of the last things to load properly on the lot in question, and until it does, I can peek past it into the house.
