Can't sell at the consignment store, omni plant won't eat :/

I've seen the solution you guys are talking about somewhere. My problem is a bit different because I have never ever put anything at the consigment store for sale. :/
How do you cancel consignments?

If you've put items up for sale at the Consignment Store, you just have to click the register and you'll have a "Cancel Consignments" option.

Thanks for the advies on the omni plant problem - I gave 1 death and 1 vamp fish to my mummy. The mummy fed the fish to my omni plants and it worked When the plants grow  the "fruit" it looks really weird 0_0
I tried to use my mummy to solve the consignment store problem. Still nothing. He had a single sculpture in his inventory and still no interactions are available :/ I sure do wonder what's up :/

Are there any other families in the neighborhood you've played that could possibly have tried to consign items? Because you have to use the sim who consigned to cancel.

Also, not sure if it did anything but my husband the typical consignment store option too and we tried to reset it by picking up the store and setting it back down (there was only the one option of putting it back in the same spot, not moving it elsewhere for some reason) and then deleting the register and putting a new one (make sure it's the consignment store register). Don't know if it would help your situation, but I hope you figure it out!

Someone also suggested that maybe there's a time limit for consigning things and once you've had an item consigned for too long, the whole thing stops working.  No confirmation on this, though.

When Ambitions first came out, I was playing a sculptor and realized that I hadn't gotten a notice from the consignment shop for a few days.  I went in to cancel my consignments and some of the items' days left were negative.  I mean, it literally said -1 and -2 for some of them (instead of, I'm assuming, being returned unsold to my sim when they reached 0 days left to sell).  I haven't had that happen since the patch but I am now much more careful to cancel my consignments right away when I notice the store being buggy.  I wonder if anyone has actually had items returned unsold?

You can only put it back down in the same spot because it's the only lot marked for the Consignment Shop.  If you would like to set it elsewhere, you will need to change the Lot Type of another lot to Commercial > Consignment Shop.
