Deformed Pet on Loading Screen

I loaded up my game, intending to play a new world I just downloaded. And I was greeted by this:



That thing is my Legacy family's cat, Stacey. I have a relatively new (not even a year old) computer and have never, ever, had deformed pets, except for once, and that was just a random quirk.

So is this going to be permanent? Because I don't want to give up my Legacy.

It is probably a glitch or the graphics card. Try resetting the pet (you can do that right?) and then save and exit to the main menu.

I haven't gone into the Legacy yet, I went into the downloaded town.

I have seen that on the exchange, it's usually when the creator used CC or Mod items on any of the sims.

I have this every now and then but it only happens in the household picture like that. I think there are certain things that can glitch the picture. I think I remember at one time having a tent in a chest glitched the image as well, not sure if this was fixed or not though. It doesn't seem to damage the file though.

Normally, if a person used a chipset to upload those pets (which obviously made them deformed/distorted), the pets will appear that way on the exchange. If you have a compatible graphics card, you will be fine.
