I have a question about the stories!

Okay well, my question is whats the difference between legacy and dynasty stories? How do you know what story goes where? If anyone could answer back soon that would be great! Thank you!

A Dynasty story is a story that is based on our two Dynasty challenges:  the Immortal Dynasty Challenge and the Townie DecaDynasty Challenge.  The legacy stories are based on Pinstar's legacy challenge that is found on the official Sims 3 site.

On the Stories board, you'll find sub-boards for the categories, including Dynasty and legacy stories.  There are also Project stories, which are based on Projects written by our members.  A story that doesn't fit in any of the other categories goes on the Miscellaneous Stories board.

It does help a little...The story I have is a rags to riches. Where a couple uses their horse ranch to earn a better life Would that be  a legacy or just a miscellaneous story?

If you are going for something similar to the Legacy Challenge - i.e. the Ten Generations. Then it is a Legacy. If however you are just concentrating on getting a small Family from Rags to Riches and when they are rich is your end goal then that would be in Miscellaneous.

I'm doing an Unofficial Legacy, it's basically following most of the rules (i.e. No Cheats, 10 Generations) but I like to be able to take a creative license at some points.
