What I heard is if you change the club to a hangout, it will attract twice as more people as a club would.

Another suggestion, group up with about 5 or 6 people and go clubbing together! Be sure to buy them food and drinks and you won't have to worry if other people show up.

Oh no Pizza Dude!? That's just horrible! I suggest you re-install all the games, me and my sis do that when our games get bugged. Hers would save but when she came back to play the town was gone, she re-installed the game and now it's faster and that doesn't happen. It has helped me alot too.

Will uninstalling and reinstalling have any effect on saved games? I've been having a few issues lately and I want to reboot but I don't want to loose my games. :-\ I lost one with the same problem as you mentioned, I saved and when I came back my neighborhood was in edit town mode somehow and my family was gone. I was very upset.

One of the things I've been suspecting is that I think all the bouncers and bartenders might count as part of the "patronage." I've also encounter a couple other interesting glitches. Once, when I decided to visit a so-called hot spot, I found the entire staff stuck in the entrance lobby unable to get into the elevator to go to work. I think I was able to fix it by removing then putting the building back in the edit mode. (*fingers crossed*) I also had a time where the bartender kept leaving the bar (sometimes even disappearing - literally). This sucked because my band had a gig and it took a few tries before they got paid (ended up happening over the phone of all things  ??? ). The good thing was there were a couple of other "legit" customers who turned up for the show.

I've got this problem too!  The clubs are usually empty when I get there.  I'm not sure if this is a glitch or just something EA overlooked, or maybe there's no way to control it, what with Story Progression and the ever-unpredictable Sims...  We love 'em, but they can drive us nuts!  ;D

I know that in one of my games, I only put down one club.  As sim days passed, I was up to 12 people in the club, which I thought was pretty cool.  The more clubs you have, the less people.  I am not 100% sure that is the case, but it has helped in my new games to only put down one, maybe two at the most.  I had the same problem happen to me too. :)

This actually sound pretty logical. As only sims that live in that town can visit a club.
How will this work in worlds like Union Cove, which is filled with people?
