I love the sponge bath too because it takes much less time! And then you can sell your shower and get more money lol! I used to leave out all the sinks too because the plates we can throw out ourselves and without a sink you don't have to wait on them to clean their plate in it. But I didn't know about it till more recently too but don't feel too bad. You are not the only one who didn't know about it!

Inappropriate is a great trait for Sims on the go.

Playing for tips at the park?  Hygiene a little low?  Fear not:  there's a sink in the bathroom!  ;D

This was one of the traits I used for my homeless teen Sim experiment.  Until she could "buy" a gym membership, it was off limits...so the only place she could bathe was either at a friend's home if she got invited over after school, or in a sink at the park/consignment store.
